LEVERAGE OUR PMO as a Service.

We have a few “as a Service” offerings (PMOaaS, CIOaaS, ERMaaS), these are services that allow you to use as much or little as you need, either as an ongoing or tactical engagement.

We have processes / templates / systems and people.  The question for you is “What do you need from us to put that function in place and what do you have already?”.  Our “as a service” offerings allow you to take advantage of our processes, our templates, our systems and our people as you need them.

You can pick and choose throughout our engagement.  You might have all the staff you need but you need processes and templates to get you going, then you can engage for those.  However, you might have gaps across your PMO that need to be filled, so you might want some processes and some capabilities like a PMO manager, project support and project manager, business analyst, or technical lead.  Our “PMO as a service” lets you dial these up or down as you need them, as you grow and mature your organisational capability, or choose to continue with the service model and its flexibility over time.

Using a lighting desk analogy, you take the slider you need and push it up or down to meet your needs.  This lets you stand up a PMO / CIO function / Risk management function at speed and test it out, decide if it’s returning on your investment, grow your capability or decide it’s not and turn it all off again.  Lower your risk and gain the ability to access all the benefits of a PMO / CIO function / Risk management function in your organisation without the risk of embedding a capability which may need the flexibility to expand and contract in different business phases.

We have a great support team that can assist in the heavy lifting of:

• Facilitating sharing of resources, tools, methodologies, and techniques
• Enabling consistent use of policies, procedures, and templates
• Standardising project-related governance processes
• Implementing/managing dashboards and scorecards

These activities take time and ensuring that all the fundamentals are tracked and up to date assures the business of forward momentum across projects. We have simple to use templates that can assist in establishing the great practices that a PMO needs and have deployed these successfully with multiple clients.

Business / investment cases build, presentation, and measure: Our team can provide templates or other toolbox items to help you build your business / investment cases or you can use our experienced staff that have been successfully building these for many years.  If you need help setting or measuring your business case, we can help with that too.
Project management office / Project support: Our project coordination and administration staff provide immediate value by driving good process for projects, businesses and change and then supplementing your teams to allow you to grow and deliver.
Technical experts, such as business analysts, data architects, technical leads: We have highly skilled and experienced senior staff members who can assist with requirements, architecture, design, planning, investment, technical decision making and training. Being independent we can review proposed structures or solutions and ensure that strategic decisions around technology are being made with your long-term strategy in mind.
Project management: We have a team of highly skilled project managers who can directly manage projects to bolster the capacity of your team. Whether they are supporting teams that are already working towards prioritised goals or allowing further projects to start we’re confident we can help get ideas and outcomes moving. Our templates and tool to develop plans, track the and manage all project elements such as products/deliverables, actions, risks, issues, change requests and decisions.
Programme and portfolio managers: We have senior team members experienced at running multiple projects through programmes and portfolios of work. They can help navigate the risks and opportunities presented and assist you to communicate with your executive and board members to get the right decisions in the right places.
Mentoring and coaching: With conflicting priorities or unclear purpose it can be hard to know where to best put your resources; that’s where our coaches come in. They have had a lot of experience in how to get the best out of people and processes to ensure that projects are set up to succeed. We can aid with governance, risk management, business continuity planning and change management to allow your staff to consistently have successful projects, inclusive of the need to pivot if required and how to best use contingency.
