DA as a Service.
Hospice New Zealand are a national organisation representing all hospice services in New Zealand. They partner with locally managed hospices to advocate for their interests, address their concerns, and provide educational resources and research.
THE CHALLENGE.
Hospice New Zealand provides an online learning environment via the Moodle platform, along with supplementary material accessible through a member’s section of their website. When their existing IT support partner announced it would no longer specialise in Moodle, Hospice New Zealand urgently needed a new platform partner. Additionally, many courses required updates to align with current user needs.
HOW WE HELPED.
Resolution8’s Digital Advisor worked with Hospice New Zealand staff to identify key requirements for a new Moodle vendor while meeting urgent timeframes. From the outset, we established vendor management practices to ensure a smooth and productive ongoing relationship, culminating in a shortlist of potential vendors and leading to the selection of a new partner.
After onboarding to the new environment, we developed a timeline for platform upgrades and course improvements. This schedule provided Hospice New Zealand with accurate budgeting and set clear expectations for vendor delivery.
Due to the ongoing requirements of the Moodle environment, Hospice New Zealand has adopted our Digital Advisor as a Service (DAaaS) model, enabling us to provide continuous advice and project management support.
